1971 Dodge Colt

This 1971 Dodge Colt is a Mitsubishi-built model which was purchased new from Fremont Dodge in California on July 10, 1971 and is finished in yellow with a black roof over a black vinyl interior. The original owner gave the car to his daughter for commuting, and she kept the car through the late 1990s. It then returned to the original owner, who worked on the car with his grandson over the coming years, including reupholstering the seats and making a custom center console. In 2013 the car was given to the grandson, who fitted a Weber carburetor to the 1,597cc inline-four, rebuilt the brakes and suspension, fitted a new exhaust, and more
