SOLD !!!

This 1953 Chevrolet is a Model 3105 ½-ton panel truck that was sold new by Sunset Motor Company in The Dalles, Oregon to Tygh Valley Lumber Company, which was based near Mount Hood in Oregon. The lumber company is said to have used the truck as a first-aid vehicle, and when the company was purchased by Mountain Fir Lumber in 1960 the truck changed ownership before eventually being acquired by a private owner following liquidation of that company in 1991. The current owner acquired the truck in 2008, and it received a certification for historic preservation by the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America in 2015. Partially refinished in Ocean Green over a refreshed brown and gray interior, the truck is powered by a numbers-matching 216ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Features include a Rochester carburetor, 16″ wheels with hubcaps, running boards, and a rear heater. The selling dealer has re-covered the seats, replaced the valve-cover gasket, cleaned the carburetor, and installed new shocks. This Chevy panel truck is now offered on dealership consignment at no reserve with an operator’s manual, 1953 dealer paperwork, a VCCA certificate and scoresheet, and a clean Oregon title.
