Very cool 1971 Valvoline Motor Oil Sign.  The maker's mark on it is on both sides and says A-M Lynchburg, VA 3-71.  Allen Morrison is a well known sign maker of commercial signs, and was known for making many signs just like this.
 
This vintage Valvoline sign is painted metal on both sides.  There are 4 holes for mounting, the two at the top look like they have been modified at some point for hanging, and you can see paint imperfections, flaws, and I would say this sign is very good condition, considering it's 55 years old.  Take a look and see what you think for yourself, this is one of the nicest we have seen.  
 
Valvoline was founded in 1866, and claims to be the oldest oil company in the United States!
