This is a very cool and rare Uniroyal sign, and because it is focused on Aircraft tires, a neat add for a collection! History: Uniroyal began producing aircraft tires during WWI and continued through WW2, although at that time they were known by a couple of different names, but ultimately in 1966 became the singular brand of Uniroyal. This sign has a maker’s mark that says Scioto Signs 1968 on it, which is really neat! 60 inches wide x 18 inches tall There is wear consistent with age on the sign. There are some imperfections around the edges where it was probably displayed and taken down and some paint fade wear and chipping.
