This is a really neat painted metal Mobil Sign.  It has the Mobil pegasus on it.  It is doulbe sided and has rounded corners at the top.  The maker's mark is on both sides and says 'A-M 2-57'. Allen Morrison was a well known vintage sign manufacturer during this era, and their marks included the date, so this sign is from February 1957.

It's difficult to find Mobiloil collectibles with the pegasus on them, and this one does not disappoint.  There is staining, imperfection, paint flaws, and the bottom corner is rusted out, which to us, gives it a lot of character.
