LIVE AUCTION : 1940 Mercury 8 Sedan - Coupe

This car came out of Eastern, Oregon, around the Pendleton area, which is famous for the Pendleton Roundup, beautiful area, and prime area for vintage barn finds like this before it was gone through. If you have ever been in that area before, it is very dry over there, which really saved this car, and explains its very solid beautiful original body. The car went through a frame off restoration during 1999-2000. It did get a respray in 2014 as well, with pictures as well. They just wanted to freshen it up at that point, it had gotten a few rock chips from being driving for the last 15 years so it deserved it. The car is very nice, as you can see in the pictures, and there is a 16 minute video, were I show you inside and out, please watch that video. The car is turnkey, very reliable, it is the kind of car you could fly in and drive it home if you wanted to, most people will ship, but it is that type of car.

The engine is a 1995 Ford 351w Crate motor, purchased from Aldrich Motorsports, out of Portland, Oregon. It is not a high horsepower engine, this car was built to cruise and be reliable, but she does have plenty get up and go believe me she is really fun to drive, and sounds awesome!.
