LIVE AUCTION: 1978 Chevrolet Cheyenne 1500 Pickup!
This 1978 Chevrolet Cheyenne 1500 is a half-ton pickup with a 350ci Oldsmobile V8 and automatic transmission. This truck was owned by a great friend of mine, who happens to be my next door neighbor, he owned this truck since the early 1990's and was his daily driver. He asked me to help him out and find a new home for her since he can't drive it anymore. So that's what we did, but we wanted to make some repairs to it to make it better. Recent work includes resealing, underhood detailing, new motor mounts, and more as detailed below. The truck shows 78k indicated miles but obviously it has turned over at some point.
Originally powered by an Oldsmobile diesel V8, the truck was upgraded with a correct replacement Oldsmobile 350ci gasoline V8 a number of years ago. Shifting is through an Oldsmobile automatic that has been serviced with a new filter, fluid, and gasket. Underhood detailing including new paint on the rocker covers, intake components, and oil pans.
